وأقيمت المباراة على ملعب “لومين” في مدينة “سياتل” الأمريكية بحضور أكثر من 45 ألف متفرج.
وانتهى الشوط الأول من المباراة بالتعادل السلبي بين الفريقين واستمرت النتيجة بهذا الحال حتى الدقيقة 72 من زمن الشوط الثاني.

وسجل فرانشيسكو إسبوسيتو هدف التقدم لصالح إنتر ميلان في الدقيقة 72 ولكن قبل هذا الهدف كانت هناك حالة طرد من ريفر بليت للاعب، لوكاس مارتينيز بالدقيقة 65.
وكانت المباراة تتجه نحو فوز إنتر ميلان على ريفر بليت بهدف نظيف، إلا أن أليساندرو باستوني أضاف الهدف الثاني في الدقيقة الثالثة من الوقت بدل الضائع من الشوط الثاني.
ورغم حسم إنتر ميلان النتيجة إلا أن الإثارة لم تنته حتى بعد الهدف الثاني بعد مشادة قوية بين لاعبي إنتر ميلان وريفر بليت انتهت بإنذار للظهير الأيمن، دينزل دومفريس وإنذار ثانٍ وطرد آخر للفريق الأرجنتيني عن طريق اللاعب، جونزالو مونتيل.
ليحصل إنتر ميلان على ثلاث نقاط جديدة في المجموعة الخامسة ويتصدر الترتيب برصيد 7 نقاط بفارق نقطتين عن مونتيري صاحب المركز الثاني، ويتأهل الفريق الإيطالي إلى دور الـ 16 ليواجه فلومينينسي.

ونشرت صحيفة ماركا الإسبانية صباح اليوم، خبر وفاة صاحب الـ28 عامًا بسبب حادث سيارة رفقة شقيقه في إحدى شوارع إسبانيا.
الصحيفة الإسبانية قالت إن الحادث وقع عند الكيلومتر 65 من الطريق السريع A-52، بالقرب من منطقة سانابريا في زامورا، وتوفي لاعب ليفربول عندما انحرفت السيارة التي كان يستقلها مع شقيقه أندريه، لاعب كرة القدم المحترف البالغ من العمر 26 عامًا من بينافيل، عن الطريق، مما أدى إلى اندلاع حريق هائلًا.
وجاء بيان نادي ليفربول على النحو التالي: “يشعر نادي ليفربول لكرة القدم بحزن عميق إثر الوفاة المأساوية للمهاجم ديوجو جوتا”.
وأكمل: “وقد أُبلغ النادي أن اللاعب، البالغ من العمر 28 عامًا، قد فارق الحياة في حادث سير في إسبانيا، إلى جانب شقيقه أندريه”.
وأضاف: “لن يُدلي نادي ليفربول بأي تعليقات إضافية في هذا الوقت، ويطلب من الجميع احترام خصوصية عائلة ديوجو وأندريه، وأصدقائهما، وزملائهما، وموظفي النادي، في ظل محاولاتهم لتقبّل هذه الخسارة التي تفوق الوصف”.
وأتم: “وسنواصل تقديم كامل دعمنا لهم خلال هذه الفترة العصيبة”.

But he has had a strike rate of only 74.90 during this period – the lowest among batters from Full Member nations with at least 1000 runs.However, in the lead-up to the 2023 ODI World Cup qualifier in Zimbabwe, Hope has slotted into a new role: an enforcer at No.4. The sample size is fairly small – Hope has batted only 11 times at No.4 in his ODI career and only twice this year – but in March he hit an unbeaten 128 off 115 balls, with seven sixes and five fours, to take down South Africa’s spinners Tabraiz Shamsi and Bjorn Fortuin. On the eve of West Indies’ first bilateral series against UAE, captain Hope suggested that he will continue to perform a similar role for West Indies at No.4.”It’s a ticklish one, but I’m happy to bat wherever the team needs [me to],” Hope said. “Going forward, I think No.4 would give us a bit more stability. Hope attributed his boundary-laden knock in East London to both situational awareness and improvement in his power game. He had also displayed signs of his power during his BPL stint with Khulna Tigers and PSL stint with Lahore Qalandars. He batted at No.3 or No.4 in those tournaments as well. Hope urges the rest of West Indies’ batting line-up to play with similar freedom rather than just trying to protect their wickets.”I think the way how cricket is being played now, you got to pretty much keep up with the times and find ways to adapt and improve our game,” Hope said. “I’m trying to be a bit more aggressive in strokeplay and it’s something I want to stem down to the team as well and want to focus on trying to find ways to score. It’s not been the season Arsenal fans would’ve been hoping for this year.
Mikel Arteta’s side have failed to make the most of Manchester City’s failure, and through a combination of poor form and injuries, look set to miss out on the Premier League title for a third campaign on the bounce.
However, there have at least been a few positives, with the most significant undoubtedly being the emergence and development of Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
The two youngsters have been exceptional this season and look destined for an incredibly bright future with the club, but the best might still be to come from Hale End, as next season could see the debut of a young talent deemed to be in the same league as Lamine Yamal.

Arsenal’s incredible talent factory seems to be showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, and before we get to the player in question, it’s worth examining the other prospects who could make their competitive first-team debuts next season.
Near the very top of that list would be Dan Casey, who might still be just 17 years old but has been nothing short of incredible in the academy this season.
For example, in just 24 appearances this season, totalling 1589 minutes, the “box-crashing” midfielder, as dubbed by respected analyst Ben Mattinson, has scored 17 goals and provided two assists, which comes out to an average of a goal involvement every 1.26 appearances, or every 83.63 minutes.

Another 17-year-old talent who should get a debut next season is Andre Harriman-Annous.
The incredibly promising centre-forward, whom Arsenal fan Connor Humm claims is the “real deal,” has been tearing things up this season, and in just 27 appearances, totalling 2001 minutes, has scored 13 goals and provided two assists.
Moreover, he has now been moved up to the U21 side and, like Casey, has already trained with the first team on multiple occasions now, so there is a real chance we get to see him play some minutes with them at some point next season.
However, while both youngsters are tremendously exciting prospects and could have great careers at the club, there is one academy gem for whom some are predicting extraordinary things: a teenager who is being spoken about in the same breath as Yamal.

With the likes of Saka, Nwaneri and Lewis-Skelly now in the first team and the aforementioned academy gems potentially on the brink of their debuts, it seems wild to think that Hale End are in the process of brewing another future world-beater, but that seems to be the case.

Max Dowman might only be 15 years old, but how he is spoken about by those in the know feels almost unprecedented when it comes to the Gunners.
For example, at the start of this season, respected talent scout Jacek Kulig went as far as proclaiming the teenager the “most exciting prospect” he had seen “since Lamine Yamal”, and considering the Spaniard’s meteoric rise, that is an astounding thing to say.
However, he’s not alone in predicting big things for the Englishman, as Declan Rice, who has been mentoring him this year, described him as “the best 15-year-old in the country,” and academy expert Will Balsam claimed he has “one of the greatest footballing brains that’s ever come through Hale End.”
It might sound rather hyperbolic, but when you look at his numbers this season, you realise it really isn’t.
Despite being just 14 at the start of the campaign, the Gunners’ “crown jewel,” as dubbed by Kulig, has scored five goals and provided two assists in 16 appearances, and perhaps even more impressive than that, he’s already played with the U21s.
Ultimately, while being compared with a world-beater like Lamal is undoubtedly a lot, it might prove apt a few years from now, as Dowman looks destined for the very top.

Mohali, Indore, Rajkot and Visakhapatnam will host two games each during India’s 2023-24 home season, which will feature series against Australia (three ODIs and five T20Is), Afghanistan (three T20Is) and England (five Tests). The BCCI may have awarded extra games to these four venues since they are missing out on the ODI World Cup in October-November.Among other venues that missed out on the World Cup, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Nagpur and Ranchi will also host matches during the 2023-24 bilateral season. Of the cities that are set to host World Cup games, only Hyderabad – where Australia will play one T20I and England one Test – Bengaluru and Dharamsala have been awarded bilateral games.With the bilateral calendar skewed away from the traditional venues, England will play none of their five Tests at India’s five biggest cities (Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru). – Por conta das alterações no time do Internacional, esta temporada tem sido uma época de transição a médio prazo para a equipe.
